Biography
:Liu Yuanyuan is a professor at Shanghai University and a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan and the University of Toronto in Canada. Her main research direction is biological manufacturing and biological 3D printing, and she has carried out many research achievements in the construction of artificial biological tissues/organs and the active regulation of their performance. She has obtained more than 30 National invention patents in China and published more than 80 academic papers. Her research work was supported by key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Key projects of Science and Technology Commission of China Military Commission, etc. The bio-3D printing equipment developed by her team has been publicized and reported by many authoritative media such as China Central Television and Science and Technology Daily, and won the first prize in the University exhibition area of the 20th China International Industry Expo.

Abstract
Starting from the challenges and demands of current artificial biological tissue / organ construction, this presentation will discuss some progress in the research of biological manufacturing technology and equipment. This presentation will focus on the design of bio micro-nano composite 3D printing process, equipment development, and its role or impact on the active regulation of the performance of artificial tissue/organ. At the same time, this presentation will also introduce the group’s research work on bone, blood vessel, skin defect repair.
